Description (Last modified by felixmoeller)

I have recently installed opensuse 10.2. I have tried using the instructions at http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSync/SyncML-OBEX-Client to test syncnhronisation between Evolution and my K800i mobile phone. I run the following test

syncml-obex-client -b $MAC $CHANNEL --slow-sync text/x-vcalendar calendar --wbxml --identifier "PC Suite"

and get this error:

connection with device succeeded
Received an Alert for the DS Server at contacts: Type: 201, Last 0, Next 134
Slowsyncing
Just received a new session with ID 1
Received the DevInf
Session 1 reported final. flushing
There was an error in the session 1: wrong initial node

This problem seems similar to ticket #99, however I am a new user to Linux and I'm not sure how to implement the fix.

it might be possible that this behavior is due to the lack of devinf support for syncml 1.2 (see ticket #104). Afaik the SE K800i only supports SyncML 1.2 (in a strange SE dialect) as the newer UIQ3 phones like M600i and P990i do. Probably HÃ¥vard Wigtil's patch (attached to ticket #104) might solve this issue. best regards,
